What dose it mean when i go to put money in my PSN account it says it cant be founded?

i went to go put some money in my PSN "PlayStationNetwork" account it said the founds cant be transferred? FIRST you go to account management then redeem code then you would put in your 10 digit code. then it would tell you how much the card holds and would say do you want to transfer to Walt, it says "yes" or "no". i press yes then it said the founds cannot be transferred to your Walt?|||Um if you received the 10 digit code through a mail message from one of your friends and its a code for 50 dollars its a scam or you're too late to use the code. Otherwise it should work, when it says the funds cannot be added the code won't add the funds to your wallet. There is no way to correct it.
