WoW account management?

okay look i have a WoW account but i cant afford to buy lich king right now. can i download off wow-website? (will it work?) (WoW = world of warcraft the computer game)|||Not sure if it is available for download yet or not, even if it is, you still have to pay for it.|||Wow works like this, you can download the program, but you need a authetication key, also, you must pay a monthly subscription. Save up.|||if you cant afford WOTLK you should just wait till you can because my friend tried it illegally off a different website and it was just a virus so i would wait cause its safer
