I was recently laid off from my position as a Senior Account Executive for a technology company. I'm not having any luck finding a position or getting a response from Craigslist or Monster. Any good websites I should visit? I'm looking for a job in San Francisco, Phoenix, Seattle or Denver.
Thank you!|||There are tons out there, too many to list. You will not get good responses from job boards. You need to search the websites for jobs! Sitting around waiting for someone to find your resume is like sitting on the moon waiting for someone to ask you out on a date.
My favorite site for searching jobs is http://www.indeed.com - This site searches numerous sites ALL AT ONCE for you, saving you tons of time. Search around, apply everywhere and CALL each company to follow up. Use your sales skills to: Find new leads, research new companies, apply everywhere, get outside and meet people, cold call people and land a great new job!
There's more links on my website too under "Online Resources."
Good luck!|||Also you could check out www.accountmanagementcrossing.鈥?Its a excellent site, specific to the profession. Jobs from entry level to the top management positions are listed. Also jobs from all fortune 500 companies are listed. Finally my search for a job ended here.
