Does a child support management account exist forcing child support payments use is solely for children?

I am an extremely responsible father with and irresponsible money manager for an ex-wife. I want to ensure that the increasing child support goes solely to the welfare of my children.|||I don't think such an account can be created. An alternative may be to ask the court to order you to pay certain expenses directly as part of your support. For example you could provide medical insurance and pay for private school. Both would be part of the support of the child.

Also consider that some support is NOT solely for the benefit of the child. The house payment is part support for the child, but also benefits the custodial parent.|||Absolutely not. It would nullify the sole purpose of child support. The term "Child Support" is entirely nominal.|||It's nice to see that there is some responsible fathers out there doing the right thing but I'm not sure if something like that is available. It couldn't hurt to express your concern to the agency handling your case. I have just the opposite luck with one that is not a responsible father that hasn't paid in almost two years. Good luck!|||Unfortunately no. My husband was having that same problem. His ex (not ever married) was bragging about how she used the child support to buy cigarettes, pay a cell phone bill and buy herself new clothes. When we brought that up in court she claimed she never said anything about cigarettes, the cell phone was so that if they were ever in a car accident she could call for help and the new clothes were a necessity for her new job which she needed to support her child. The judge fell for all of it! We know the CS is not being spent on their daughter or on living expenses because they keep getting kicked out of apartments, having their gas shut off and she can't afford to buy their daughter new clothes or school supplies. If you can prove, with documentation, that your ex is spending the money on things other than things directly related to your kids, rent, utilities, clothes, food, etc. you may have a case. Otherwise there is nothing you can do. Also the court considers things like car payment, car insurance, cell phones, and gas for the car as items related to the welfare of a child. Good luck!
