I recieved an email from yahoo account management, that said they were closing my account and i have 24 hrs?

to contact yahoo back with my account information including my password, DOB, emill address and age, if i do not respond they will close my account, is this a scam, or is this the real thing?|||That is a phishing scam to get your account info. you need to forward it to Yahoo Security*

To report a phishing email, please forward the email to phishing@cc.yahoo-inc.com.|||Yahoo would not ask you for your personal information in an E-mail like that.

It is a scam to get your personal information and/or money.

Do not respond to it.

Report it, forward it to the FTC at spam@uce.gov and to the abuse desk of the sender's ISP.

For yahoo, report them here: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ya鈥?/a>

Choose Fraud as the reason for the violation you're reporting on.

Also, if the E-mail appears to be impersonating a bank or other company or organization, forward the message to the actual organization.|||Scam, I got that before. They will hack your email and look for bank passwords etc.
