My BF got a called in for an account management position?? is this a scam?

we posted his resume to career builder and he got a call back for an interview for an account management position. we are a little confused though considering he has no experience in this area he has really only worked warehousing the past four years and has manager experience. could this be a scam?|||"Account Management" is just a fancy term for people that do account work. (Billing, answer questions, update information, etc.) Generally little to no experience is required.|||First you say he has no experience in this area, then you say he has manager experience. So it doesn't sound like they are offering him a job he is not qualified for through experience. Any job offer coming through the internet could be a scam. But, it never hurts to go for the interview and check it out. If they haven't asked for money from him upfront to employ him or hook him up with a job they could be legitimate. If they offer him a job, and money as payment from him for their services is involved, they should be willing to let him check out the company offering the job and meet with their personnel manager to confirm that the employment opportunity is factual. Usually a "head hunter" company that pre-screens and finds good employees for companies has an agreement with those companies to pay for their services, or to withhold some of the new employee's wages to pay for those services. They don't usually ask for any fees upfront from the job seeker. Payment almost always occurs after the person is working their new job.|||Could be. What do they want him to do? Who was the call from?

There are certain companies that call anyone and everyone who is looking for a job. Primerica Financial Services is famous for this. While technically they are not a scam, most people don't end up making any money with them.
